She waits on the steps of life, idly passing her fingers over worn memories and tired thoughts. Over and over and over until her fingers have blisters and her skin is bruised. The soft faces on the photograph remind her of the days when there was a garden and she could run around naked, without abandon. The sun kissed her delicate, newborn skin and her play things would have marvelous adventures. And hands come to pull her away from this, pulling her back from her shoe box of memories left behind and it agonizes her. Planting seeds of doubt, they claw at her now pale flesh, leaving marks and sores and darker thoughts.

She leans back in the chair, allowing the air to sample her smooth pale flesh. Eyelashes flutter on green swatches, brushing her cheek. For a moment she draws in a breath, quick smile pressing against her cheeks. The moisture of his subtle pressure leans in on her neck, whispers compared to the real kisses. She lifts her head a moment to see, but his hands meet her hair and pull her neck further to his advantage, traveling along the lines of her thoughts. A glimmer, a hiss, scalding water hits her skin. A faint. A faint what? Sound? Distance? She can't see anymore and without the distant horizon to guide her stumbling feet she can't make due with what she has. “Kiss me quiet,” she whispers, exhaling pure thought, as his hands tie knots in her hair. Her words are fragile and she keeps them cradled in her warm mouth. A clash, a fervor, and she is already above it all. Her hands covered in mold delicately cradle her thoughts, clamped shut around them like a stone. If her fingers are allowed to unclench for even a second, the air would rush in and might oxidize her thoughts. And rust is very unbefitting for delectable ideas. So, she climbs a little higher, asphyxiation crunching her lungs. A mumble, a moan, sideways smile creeping down the edges of her lips and she presses on. Her face was pressed into the crook of her elbow, eyelashes brushing her pale skin faintly as they watched the tiny green world below her. It reminded her vaguely of a corridor of stained glass pictures etched together in a criss cross fashion to further confuse anyone with a sense of direction. Well, as usual, I'm at my dad's. Not much is happening at the moment, but I wanted to update my journal.  I successfully stabbed myself with a kabob stick today and made myself bleed so that was exciting.  I felt like a total retard, but that's politically incorrect, so let's just say I felt special. Oh!  I did baby sit my little bro all day which was cool.  He played, ate, played, ate, slept, ate and played some more.  To get him to sleep, I sang him The Mariner's Revenge by The Decemberists.  I felt pretty awesome after that. So yeah.  I miss everyone terribly.  I almost killed myself driving here (damn you unprotected intersections!).
